Asialink Arts acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures, and to Elders past and present on whose lands we work across Australia and the Asia Pacific.

The Merindas would like to thank their Bunurong Boon Wurrung and Wurrundjeri Woi Wurrung brothers and sisters from the Kulin nation for the opportunity to tell our story, on your country. We acknowledge that Aboriginal sovereignty has not been ceded and we would like to pay our respect to your ancestors and elders past, present and emerging.

I'm really inspired by women who self-produce and are self-managed. Seeing other women out there really driving and stepping up in the industry, kind of makes us inspired to step up and do the same.– Candice Lorrae, The Merindas

知音 sonicbridge provides a creative response to the issues posed by COVID-19. We are thrilled that the project builds empathy and understanding by bringing together artists, venues, labels and promoters to re-envisage a music future that is viable, ethical and accessible to independent artists.

Music has taken me to places that I never thought that I was going to visit in my life, like Finland, Hong Kong, Singapore. I never ever thought that I was going to be going somewhere out of Australia to do music!
